Beintween is hosting it’s Matireal Kickstarter Launch Party for theartery on Friday, October 19th at the Marsupial Bridge Media Garden (across the street from Trocadero).

“Beintween will be launching its kickstarter fundraising campaign to raise money for matireal, beintween’s innovative trailblazing system for theartery, a linear park that seeks to embrace and enhance community by reclaiming a former 2.4 mile RxR corridor with interactive art and edible landscapes in Milwaukee.

We hope the money raised through our kickstarter campaign will allow us to begin blazing the first of its kind in a community that inspired its development.
Put this date on your calendar – it will take place on Friday, October 19th, and is all ages. There will be drinks, food, a (bike-in) movie, a band, and apparel to buy and support our initiative to weaving tires and stitching neighborhoods together.
Who’s playing you might be asking? An incredibly talented band out of Chicago named Blah Blah Blah. Though they have toured the country, this will be their debut in Milwaukee. Some say their sound resembles The Smiths, see for yourselves here:
It is also Gallery Night, and ARTbus will be making stops here as well.
