Our friends over at Milwaukee Odyssey and Irie Vibez are producing an art and music show to launch a new gallery space throught O’lydia’s on Friday, May 11th.
MKEBKE, along with 88.9 Radio Milwaukee, Art Milwaukee, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Couto Bros, Local Playlist, Recalcitrant, Escape to Ecuador, and FunTV are sponsoring the night’s events.
R.A.S. Movement and Naima Adedapo, Natty Nation, Undercover Organism, Marcus Doucette (88.9 Radio Milwaukee) and Sound Travels, D’Amato, and Boxxx ft. ReB will all be performin that night.
The event will also feature;
- Drum Circle
- Odyssey Grupo de Fuego, fire poi spinning!
- Bus painting in parking lot across the street
- Live video projection
- Catering by Take Home Owen
- Patio Hula Hoop session
- Mini ARTket (artist vending area)
- & more
Doors open up at 9pm, and things go all night until barclose. $10 entry for the night, but ride your bike down and mention MKEBKE for a $5 cover and free beer with entry. If you have any events or news you’d like to promote, we’ll be happy to share some table space, so just shoot us an email.
There will be a party bus leaving from Murray Pantry on the East Side to O’Lydia’s. $5 lands you a seat both ways on the bus, and a free PBR. More info here.
