Art Milwaukee, NEWaukee, Friends of The Lakeshore State Park, and Gathering Waters are hosting their 2nd Annual Urban Island Beach Party on Friday, August 3rd. One thing they all share is a love for this city, which is shown in the fun events they host that “enrich, empower and inspire our community.”
Along with them, we invite you to join us for this beach party next week at Lakeshore State Park. The park is between Summerfest grounds and Discovery World, where we’ve stopped for a number of group bike rides.
Come lock up at the free bike valet, hosted by Vulture Space and MKEBKE. If a free, fun party with a bunch of friends isn’t incentive enough to go check out the Urban Island Beach Party, get down there by bike, bus (w/ transfer), canoe, kayak, or stand-up-paddle and enjoy yourself a free beer.

5PM-10PM
Live Tunes, kayaking, sailing, hula lessons, laser tag, limbo, drum circles, live art, glass blowing village, water sponge ball fight, Raku with Ryan Peters, dangerous lawn games, fish fry and pig roast, and the most beautiful sunset you’ll ever see.
